Recorded at Zionstudio Aug. / Sept. 1995 - Produced by Kay Kipper
In the summer of 1995, the Beatsteaks started playing at local shows and food festivals in Berlin. By the end of that summer, the hardcore-punk band decided to record their first demo called "... die erste", which translates to "... the first" in English, produced by Kay Kipper. They sold it at early shows and eventually ... die erste went on to sell more than 1000 copies. In April 1996, after the success of the demo, they decided to make a few more copies featuring 3 bonus songs: Fool, 48/49 and Indifferent. All of those songs were recorded on April 20th 1996 at the Kulturfabrik in Berlin, Kreuzberg.
Songs recorded:
Everything I Hate
So Undone
Change
Zu Oft
What's To Do
